Michelle is a native of Oklahoma City. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
She and Shannon, her husband of 25, years live in the Bethel Acres area. Shannon's profession, a retail pharmacist for CVS, brought them here in 1999. Since he is from Shawnee, he often teases that she is a city girl that he brought to the country (just substitute "Bethel" for the word "Green" in the Green Acres TV show jingle). They have two wonderful children, Madeline and Luke, who are now in college.
Michelle was a stay-at-home Mom for many years, but with a mind for business and a genuine enjoyment in getting to know people, returning to the working world was always part of the plan.
Even with a degree from UCO, it was the working world itself that guided her decision to work in insurance. She found she had a knack for the demands of technical detail and the ability to relate to customers that is needed in the insurance industry. Getting to know someone and/or their business and going the extra mile to help them find just the right insurance to meet their needs and budget is the part of the job she enjoys the most!
